Welcome to The Peculiar Flow — a space for becoming, healing, questioning, rebuilding, and learning how to move with God even when the path doesn’t look anything like you expected.
I’m Janiece Ross, but around here, you can call me Niecy.
This blog was created from real life. Not the polished version. The faith-filled, sometimes confused, sometimes hilarious, sometimes painful version where God keeps meeting me in the middle of it all.
I write about faith, healing, marriage, motherhood, business, identity, purpose, creativity, lessons I learned the hard way, and the moments that make me stop and say, “Okay God… I see what You were doing there.”
For a long time, I thought growth meant becoming someone completely different. I’m learning that sometimes growth is really about uncovering who God created you to be before fear, disappointment, survival, people’s opinions, and life experiences started adding layers.
That’s the flow.
Not perfection.
Not pretending.
Not having every answer.
Just the willingness to keep moving when God says move, rest when He says rest, and trust that even the strange parts of the journey can have purpose.
You may find Bible studies here. You may find testimony. You may find business lessons, uncomfortable revelations, funny stories, prayers, or a thought I couldn’t stop thinking about at 2:17 in the morning.
But whatever brought you here, my hope is that something you read reminds you that you are allowed to grow, change your mind, heal, begin again, dream bigger, and follow God into unfamiliar places.
You don’t have to fit the mold.
You were never called to.
Welcome to The Peculiar Flow. Tap in. 🤍
